the Cemetery

In 1861, as indicated on the brick marker, 1.6 acres was set aside by the Mason family for the purpose of establishing both a church and cemetery. The land was named Mt. Hebron.

Most Moser ancestors are buried in Mt. Hebron cemetery with the oldest family members being Jeff’s Grandparents, Rose and Jeff. Photos of all the Mosers headstones are shown below.

One of the many ways he gave of his time and energy to the community and to family, Jeff Ray Moser immaculately maintained the church building, as well as the church and cemetery grounds from 1969 until 2017. See more in GIVING BACK.
