giving back
This sweet, gentle man has given his entire life to his family who raised him, his wife, daughter, and grandkids. But his love has extended to his nieces and nephews as well, and we are certain, many others. Through the years, even while experiencing his own loss, Jeff has been a stand-in dad and advisor to all of us when we lost our parents one by one. We knew that he had our backs when things were tough. Jeff gave us all of himself throughout every season, always reminding us of everything good in our lives.
But there is so much more. As risky as the endeavor was, Jeff didn’t think twice about signing up to pilot for the Arkansas Civil Air Patrol to search for the missing for three years. Jeff gave his time and attention to faithfully taking care of the church and cemetery grounds from 1969 until 2017. He also financially supported Mt. Hebron along with other family members. And when he and Nola began attending First Baptist Church, they supported that ministry. Together they supported other ministries and even an overseas missionary. After Nola’s passing, he sent a donation to their church in her name and honor. Jeff was also a licensed minister and officiated wedding ceremonies.
At almost 86, it is impossible to capture all of Jeff Ray Moser’s huge life story, but it has been an honor to try. You have given us so much, so we want to thank you for all that you’ve given to us. You are seen, known, loved and appreciated by us all! Thank you Grandpa. Thank you Uncle Jeff! And Kitty Buddy thanks you too!
